General Questions
Our apartments are located throughout Wellington City's most central and vibrant neighbourhoods. Presented and maintained to an exceptional standard, our apartments provide all the comforts and privacy of home at a fraction of the cost of nearby hotels. If you'd prefer a suburban retreat, we also have a number of beautiful character furnished houses available. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service - our priority is to ensure our residents have an enjoyable, hassle-free and memorable stay in a home away from home.
Our minimum stay is three months, whilst others are available for long-term leases of 6 months or more. Availability varies depending on the time of year. From time to time we can allow for a shorter stay.
We can provide accommodation for less than 28 days in some cases. Predominantly we facilitate bookings of 1-12 months, however if there are vacancies between our longer bookings for a particular property, we will of course be happy to fit you in!
All of our apartments are move-in ready. They come complete with contemporary furniture, a fully-equipped kitchen (cookware, cutlery, etc.) and are set up with wifi and TV. Linen and towels are provided and in some units we can adapt the bed offerings. All you need is your suitcase!
Of course! Please contact us to schedule a viewing of any specific property (or properties) that you are interested in. If a property is occupied we are required to provide 24 hours notice, but in most cases we are able to coordinate same-day viewings. Out of consideration to our residents in occupied units, we ask that viewings take place between 9am and 6pm. We are often able to accommodate weekend viewings, too.
Our professional housekeeping staff clean and prepare each property before residents arrive and after they depart. Regular housekeeping services throughout your stay can be arranged upon request.
We are happy to look at this on case by case basis for longer term stays. In some instances we can adapt the furniture offerings to suit what you are bringing to the apartment. If any of the original items are moved out, they must be returned to the unit when you check-out.
We understand that plans can change so we endeavour to be as flexible as possible. If you wish to extend your stay, just let us know as soon as you can so that we can ensure it is available for a longer-term.
Bookings
Start by browsing our selection of properties. When you find one (or several!) that you think may fit your needs, you can contact us directly to confirm availability, set up a viewing or make a reservation. Give us a call, fill in the enquiry form, or flick an email to wellington@hiatlas.com.
HiAtlas Wellington aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours. We work with great landlords and suppliers that can help us accommodate same-day move-ins in some circumstances.
Yes, all our bookings require you to sign a Residential Tenancy Agreement. For Corporate shorter stays, you simply need to book and a HiAtlas Wellington Booking Confirmation will be sent to you.
For all Tenancy Agreements, we will take a bond, which is submitted to Tenancy Services, who hold all New Zealand bonds. For shorter Corporate stays, we simply hold credit card details for security. A full incoming inspection will be provided to you and if there are any issues these will be discussed at the end of your stay.
We will send out an invoice for rent and for bond (if applicable). This can be paid either online via credit card (5% processing fee), wire transfer or cash deposit into our bank account.
No GST is charged on your booking as it is considered a residential tenancy booking.
Yes. We are happy to work with businesses that require a corporate lease.
Your Stay
One of our team members will meet you at the property to hand over the keys and show you around the property. If you would prefer, we can arrange to meet you at your office or elsewhere - whatever's easiest for you!
Rent invoices for online payments will be sent out for rent payment as per the Tenancy Agreement or Booking Confirmation.
All apartments are set up with a high-speed wireless Internet and TV. Electricity is provided for at $200 per month, additional usage will be passed on at cost. A one-time move-out cleaning fee is charged at the end of your stay for a deep clean to get the apartment ready for the next guest. If you would like us to arrange regular cleaning services during your stay this will be charged with your rent.
For short stays there is only an incoming and exit inspection. For longer stays (6 months+), we carry out an inspection every three months. We trust that you will take great care of the property, however we are obliged to carry out inspections for long-term leases for insurance purposes.
Smoking is prohibited in all HiAtlas apartments. For the safety of our guests and neighbours, HiAtlas Wellington cannot allow large parties or events. Body Corporate rules for apartment buildings will be provided at the time of booking and these rules must be abided by at all times. Not all of our residences allow pets.
All our apartments are well-maintained and move-in ready, however should any maintenance issues arise during your stay, please inform us and we will get the issue rectified as quickly as possible.
