5.         Sails Restaurant – located within the Westhaven Marina, this two-level fine dining restaurant offers diners gorgeous views over dozens of yachts. As well as local awards for food and service, Sails Restaurant has also been voted the 13th top fine dining restaurant in the world! Offering both lunch and dinner sittings, their Signature Menu looks delicious.

6.         The French Café – a gastronomical delight, The French Café offers evening dining in its Symonds Street venue. Or enjoy the experience of watching the cooking and plating of off menu dishes during the Gaggenau Tuesday Test Kitchen evenings.

7.         Ahi – Ahi, the flagship restaurant of chef Ben Bayly, celebrates the delights of local organic produce and ingredients within its menu. Focused on diving deep into what makes NZ cuisine so special, Ahi pays homage to the local ingredients used and its suppliers. Of note, the distance travelled of key ingredients for each item on the menu is listed, helping appreciate the food sustainability Ahi is achieving.
